KCT Sniper struck first with three runs and reclaimed a 7–4 lead in the third, but Samsung Electronics answered with six runs in the bottom of the fifth to win 12–7. The teams met in the Sunday League Single B game at Yongsan 3 Field on June 7, 2026. Samsung overcame an early deficit, rallied again after KCT’s comeback, and kept the lead through the final attack that was played.

KCT opened the scoring in the top of the first. Hong Seong-il drew a walk, stole a base, and scored. Kim Dae-yeol followed with a triple to left-center that drove in a run; he then scored on Kim Chang-hyun’s double to right-center. Lee Jeong-young added an RBI single to left, putting KCT ahead 3–0.

Samsung began to close the gap in the bottom half. Kim Eun-jae was hit by a pitch, stole twice, and scored. Seong Chan-woo singled to left for an RBI, and Jin Sang-su followed with another run-scoring single. Park Yang-gu added a hit and a stolen base as Samsung scored twice to make it 3–2.

KCT did not score in the second, and Samsung took advantage. Moon Hyeong-ju reached on an infield single toward shortstop, though his attempt to steal second ended in an out. Park Jin-won and Jeong Min-gyo then singled and scored. After Kim Eun-jae reached on a shortstop error, Park Hyeong-oh singled to left for an RBI. Samsung scored twice to take a 4–3 lead.

KCT responded with four runs in the third. Kim Dae-yeol and Kim Chang-hyun drew walks before Jeong Woo-yeon singled to center, adding an RBI and scoring after a steal. Lee Jeong-young reached on a third baseman’s error, then stole a base and scored. The rally put KCT back in front.

Kim Jeong-gyun was hit by a pitch, and Kim Sang-gyun’s single to left brought in two runs. Hong Seong-il walked to extend the inning, but the next two batters made fly-ball outs. KCT finished the top of the third with a 7–4 lead; Samsung went scoreless in the bottom half.

After KCT was held scoreless in the fourth, Samsung mounted another charge. Park Hyeong-oh reached on an infield single back to the pitcher, stole twice, and scored. Seong Chan-woo tripled toward the center-field fence, driving in a run before scoring himself. Jin Sang-su added an RBI on a ground ball. Samsung scored twice to pull within one, 7–6.

Samsung kept KCT off the board in the fifth, then produced the decisive rally. Hwang Geon-woo singled to left, and Song Myeong-seop reached on a ground ball to shortstop and scored. Jeong Min-gyo tripled toward the center-field fence for an RBI and then scored. Kim Eun-jae followed with a single to center that drove in a run; he later scored as well.

Park Hyeong-oh singled to left for an RBI, then stole a base and scored. Seong Chan-woo drew an intentional walk, stole a base, and scored. Jin Sang-su doubled toward the left-field fence to bring home two runs, and Lee Min-su added an RBI with a double to center. Samsung scored six in the bottom of the fifth to take a 12–7 lead and held it from there.

KCT’s top of the sixth was the last attack actually played. Hong Seong-il and Kang Seok drew walks, but both runners were put out. Kim Dae-yeol reached on a ground ball to the pitcher, and Kim Chang-hyun’s fly ball to shortstop ended the inning. The score remained 12–7 for Samsung; the bottom of the sixth was not played.

KCT’s Kim Sang-gyun went 1-for-3 with two RBIs on the day, contributing to the third-inning rally. Kim Dae-yeol finished 1-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored. For Samsung, Park Hyeong-oh went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs, while Jin Sang-su went 2-for-4 with four RBIs.

KCT pitcher Kim Beom-ryong worked 4⅓ innings, allowing 12 hits and six runs, four earned. Park Jae-hyeon allowed five hits and six earned runs in two-thirds of an inning. Samsung’s Park Hyeong-oh recorded 2⅔ scoreless innings in one listed pitching line; his separate pitching line is not combined with it.
